As the carrions devour your flesh
As the flames flicker and die
As the birds peck at your remains
As the smoke of your cremation fire disperse
So too may the rumbles of the earth desist
So too has the world quickly forgotten
..
But for loved ones left behind
Homes are there no more
But life must go on
So we rebuild
Karma has bonded us
As time unfolds and continues
May this Yushu again be a pure abode
..
As Yushu rises from the ashes
As pure motivation and compassion arise
In the hearts of those who share your karma
As the haunts of the Mani Mantra
Resound in your hearts
And its echos fades in the distance
May its essence birth in ours..
