Pyrite aka Fool's Gold
It was a long holiday break and it is funny how sometimes when the mind has nothing to work on, it starts to throw itself back into the past.
With this throwback, old things starts to surface. It is like we reach back behind us and see how we could re-work things. Just like taking out the rusty spring alarm clock from that old drawer and trying to make it work again. And sometimes…Presto! You get it working again! Life is like that.
“Things happen for a reason” they always say. Well, in my case it was back to playing with crystals again. And there on Facebook, I see friends talking about crystals. So back we go, dig in that old drawer and ..Pyrite and that old time favorite Rutilated Quartz…ah..memories of those playful crystals days and spirits of the forest!

Pyrite -Known as Fool’s Gold, Pyrite comes from the Greek for ‘firestone’ because it was believed that pyrite, a sparkling stone, held fire in its core.
