Sometime ago I read this book. And  I went on a voyage into the world of Paulo Coelho.

As one who is a ripe candidate for that ride into the sunset, I am a little heartened to know that there is an elder in this world who has something in common – the search for a path of truth and greater understanding of our place in this space.

Paulo Coelho has written many books and what I read was a translation from his original work in Portuguese. Credits must be given to the translator who has given the feel to Colho’s writings. This I believe is his second and written before his bestselling ‘The alchemist’.

This book, The Pilgrimage narrates a spiritual journey, the writer’s own on ‘The Road Of Santiago De Campostela’. His spiritual path may be different from mine but they contained the same elements. If we care to lift the veil that shields our own dogmatic beliefs, we would see the universal truth. And that is the message I found in this read.

I would recommend this book. For the amazon link you can click on this link :

All of his books are great. And you will want to read them again and again. I have Paulo Coelho’s whole series.

How wonderful! I have read Valkyries, Alchemist, Veronica, Miss Prym, River Piedra. They are all good energy up-lifters and provide much food for thoughts. Maybe I will review another book some time :)
