About
Mixed Jar is an extension of my earlier blogs mymixedjar and fengshuihealing.
I tried to fill these earlier blogs with stuff which I thought would be helpful. At points they were much which were meant as food for thought.
As someone once asked, “How many ten years does one has?” Not many. For those of us who are in our mid-life, there may not be many. Certainly not more than can be counted on the fingers of our hand. Should we not seek a way forward that will make our life precious.
If there is one belief that I hold, it would be the belief that the ultimate purpose of life is to make it precious. To explain what a precious life means would take pages and ages. Happiness would top the list. To cut a long story short, mixed jar is an attempt to share those little glimpses of this merry-go-round called life.
A long time ago when I was hardly a teenager, I met an Australian man who said, “People and places interest me more than books and university.” He was young and was then en route to a land called Europe. Oh, what excitement that held for a young boy who has traveled not very far from his place of birth.
Yes, indeed, culture and how others lived. Aren’t they also, like us, part of this spectrum of humanity. But I say how they help us to understand ourselves is ever more important.
In capturing life’s flavors, I hope you enjoy reading this blog and your comments will always bring delight.
